UTH Scanner Setup and Warranty

Get started with your UTH Scanner Kit

For a compatible iPhone running iOS 16.0 or later. Vehicle and scanner support vary.

1. Park safely before using the scanner or app. Locate your vehicle’s OBD-II port and plug in the scanner.
2. Download UTH: Under The Hood from the App Store.
3. Enable Bluetooth and allow the app’s Bluetooth permission. Open UTH and use Quick Connect to connect to your scanner. Follow the app and vehicle instructions.
4. Read supported engine and emissions codes or available live data. A code is a starting point, not proof of a failed part or a safe-to-drive decision.
5. Ask Nia Basic for guidance. Hosted Nia requires sign-in and an internet connection. Verify important information with a qualified professional.

If connection fails, stop and contact support@uthnation.com with your order number, iPhone model and vehicle details. Never interact with the app or scanner while driving.

Scanner replacement warranty

Report a broken scanner to UTH within 7 days of delivery at support@uthnation.com. UTH will ship a replacement within 7 days after approving the claim. UTH pays approved replacement shipping.
